Each MBTA belt is individually sewn in our Montreuil (Paris) workshop by Marc Bizet. Materials are sourced from specialist suppliers; every piece is load-tested before dispatch. We work with trapeze artists, aerial acrobats, circus schools and professional companies worldwide.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a harness and a trapeze belt?+
A trapeze belt circles the waist and hips only, with lateral rings for attachment. A full harness adds thigh straps and sometimes a chest piece — used for flight effects and more engaged suspensions. MBTA makes both, custom to your morphology and discipline.
How long does it take to make a custom trapeze belt?+
Standard lead time is 2–4 weeks after the template is validated. For stock sizes (XS–XL standard), delivery can be within 48h.
Do you ship internationally?+
Yes, MBTA ships throughout France and internationally. Measurements can be taken by sending a paper template or during a visit to our Montreuil workshop.
Are your harnesses certified?+
MBTA harnesses are made to EN 361 (fall-arrest harnesses) and EN 813 (sit harnesses for work positioning) standards where applicable. Every piece is load-tested before delivery.
